Firstly
I would like to appologise for the basic appearence of my website. I am now working but it is still under construction as I am still on the MSc IT Systems Development course while working full time.
Secondly
The purpose of this website is to advertise my skills as a programmer/website developer and my various other skills and qualifications which I will keep up to date.
What is Codejunky?
Finally Codejunky is the nickname I was given when I was studying in college as I had a deep fascination with programming in any language and spent most of my spare time reading about code or coding. Its only in the last year I have taken an interest in creating websites and quickly dived into PHP, HTML, CSS and the various technologies of web-development. Before that I believed all scripts were inefficient and so a waste of time. I have always loved Visual Basic 6 which was one of the first languages I learned and still learning. I enjoy the power to create applications quickly which are also visually appealing and with a little wizardry it is possible to write some incredible programs.
My first web-programming language was PHP which completely blew me away with the amazing support for MySQL (my favorite database) and ease of coding which is easy on the eyes. After extending a few websites with this technology during my time at 22Solution I realised I had completely misjudged the power of website technology and look to do further work in this industry.
